This was created for those wonderful public servants who sometimes experience compassion fatigue in their professions such as nurses, educators, counselors and first responders. Keeping it real folks
I'm just gonna get real here friends, today I had a really down day. You know the kind where you suddenly for no reason feel like you are in the middle of an existential crisis, where your life feels like it has no meaning or purpose other than as the caretaker of the10 piles of laundry you continue to let stack up without folding and the maid to a household of unending "toy shrapnel" which seems to be strewn in every square foot of the house as if a dirty bomb full of legos

Next week, Tuesday August 22 at noon, starts our next 6 week Essentrics class with Bethanne Stufflebean. If you have never tried this class, it is a wonderful way to change the body from the inside out borrowingexercises from dance, pilates and yoga, I left this class feeling longer and leaner having utilized muscle groups I had long neglected. Join us for a Free Wellness Event in August
Our first in the series of FREE community wellness events. This class will focus on utilizing some tools of self care to release stress, anxiety and other painful emotions. You will be lead through a Restorative Yoga practice, receive instruction on establishing mindfulness practice in your daily routine as well as education on utilizing aromatherapy as a tool in navigating your emotions/moods. Reflections
My sabbatical-vacation gifted me with unforgettable memories – touching a dolphin in Charleston’s Stono River, walks down Holumdersteig (Elderberry Hill), swimming with my granddog, and watching the two small birds I fed on the back porch become a flock of precision fliers coming in for the seed.
