Holy Yoga Instructor Changes

Change is always inevitable, but it is not always easy. We have been blessed for the last 3 years to have Maureen Beville instructing the Holy Yoga classes here. She is now ready to launch her own business in West Frisco adding a second faith-based yoga studio here. We will miss her but bless her to go where God is leading her. It seems when a door is closed, another one opens, so in the same breath we also want to welcome to our studio, Naomi Mattay, (pictured here) who is a Master Holy Yoga Instructor. She and Cynthia Newton (R-HYI) will be continuing these Christ-centered yoga classes with the same heart and intention that you have enjoyed here already. While no one can replace Maureen, these two teachers have equally beautiful hearts and their own unique teaching styles and life experiences to share with our community. We look forward to watching them bloom and grow here.

In light of her transition, Maureen wrote the following words to her friends here at The Sacred Space:

"I am so thankful for the three years that I have spent teaching at the Sacred Space. Leah has been gracious to me in my pursuit of bringing Holy Yoga to Frisco and allowing me to teach in her studio. I will forever be grateful for all the relationships that have been forged at Sacred Space. For me, my journey in yoga has always been about so much more than the physical practice, it has always been about creating a space for me and my students to honor and love God with all our hearts, souls, minds and strength. When I pursued my Holy Yoga training four years ago, it was an act of obedience to a call God put on my heart. And that is where I find myself again today. God is calling me again to step out for Him and create a second faith-based studio in West Frisco. I'm sending well wishes, hugs, and sincere prayers of gratitude for all the students who have allowed me to lead them. I hope they know how much they have blessed and inspired me.

Let us consider how to inspire each other to greater love and to righteous deeds, not forgetting to gather as a community, as some have forgotten, but encouraging each other, especially as the day of His return approaches.(Hebrews 10:24-25)

With sincerity and love,

Maureen"

We bless you Maureen to pursue your dreams and your calling and we are all grateful for the time you have spent with us here.
