Weekly Restorative Yoga, a Rhythm of Self Care

It’s official, the school year has begun, the routine has come back into play and the burnout of day to day is inevitability lurking around the corner.

Here at Sacred Space, we cater to those immersed in the realities of life who are seeking transformational self care practices to enhance and revitalize their bodies and minds. With the accessibility of a weekly Restorative yoga class at Sacred Space, you are given the opportunity to heal and refresh the body and mind. A potent self care practice that brings you back into alignment with your body and breath. A healthy escape from the day to day, revitalizing your vitality with a great sigh of relief! Restorative Yoga is a beneficial practice to balance and renew the body and mind. With the use of passive Asana, postures, supported by props, we enter a state of allowing and stillness, giving the body time to release into each pose. With a slow pace, we allow the muscles and fascia to integrate the benefits of each posture, giving the mind and nervous system time to ease into a state of coherence and harmony. With the support of bodily postures (Asana), breathing technique (Pranayama) and meditation (Dhyana) you are offered the opportunity to relax, heal and restore. This weekly restorative yoga class is just what we need to break the monotony of the week and remind us how important a self care practice is for our wellbeing.

We are constantly in the outward mode of giving, doing and accomplishing, meanwhile our cups need to be replenished before we can go on nourishing others. Why burn out when we can revitalize and restore! Restorative Yoga with Carla, Monday evenings at 7pm. All are welcome!
